Prior to founding and Women Enabled Enterprises and ShopConsciously, I had a 10 year career in retail and

e-commerce.

South African born, California living and passionate about helping to lift women out of poverty. As the age-old saying goes, when you empower a woman, you empower a community.

I am the founder of Women Enabled Enterprises, a non-profit that helps women of color in South Africa learn business skills that help to grow their businesses, so that they can create gainful employment and sustainability in their community.

ShopConsciously is our Fair Trade Brand, this brand amplifies the work we do and I’m here for that! The women from our program, with great compassion make these hand made products.

I have worked for 7 years within the marketing space supporting corporate companies, project managers and founders achieve their outcomes. Within the non-profit space I have managed to use my skillset to enhance stakeholder relations, amplify what Africa has to offer and most importantly impact women of colour around the African continent.

Naomi Byekwatso

Enrolment and Program Support Specialist - Uganda

I am a wife and mother of 2 who is passionate about the empowerment of women and girls. I work with women to create fashionable neck warmers and baby safe dolls. My dream is to provide economic empowerment to young women while producing world class competitive products.
