According to a report by Bloomberg, South Africa has the highest unemployment rate on a global list of 82 countries. The unemployment rate surged at 34.4% for Q2 of 2021 and now currently sits at 34.9%.
The Lift is a passionate and determined group of monthly givers on a mission to contribute to alleviating the devasting unemployment crisis in South Africa. You and other individuals from around the world make it possible for marginalised groups to earn an honest living. It is through your efforts that they are able to rise above it all.
